Frequently asked questions

Drives aren't being detected automatically

Auto-detection needs Motion & Fitness and Location (Always) access. Check iPhone Settings → SteerStart and make sure both are enabled, and that "Detect & auto-log drives" is on in the app's Settings tab.

A short trip wasn't saved

Unconfirmed detections under 2 minutes are treated as noise and discarded. Tap "Yes, log it" on the detection banner to save a drive of any length, or add it manually from the Log Drive tab.

How do I export my logbook?

Settings → Report & Export lets you generate a PDF or CSV of all logged sessions.

Is my data private?

Yes — everything stays on your device. See the privacy policy.
